Mr. Robbie Mbali Mkhonto is a visionary business leader with over 18 years of experience in the corporate and business sectors. He is the founder of Romba Chemicals Group, both of which have established themselves as key players in the consulting and business development landscape.
Mr. Mkhonto holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UNISA School of Business, a Honors Degree in Development Studies from UNISA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Johannesburg. Additionally, he earned a National Diploma in Banking from the University of Johannesburg and a National Higher Certificate in Municipal Governance. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD, further demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and thought leadership.

He served as the President of Convocation at the University of Johannesburg, where he also contributed as a Council Member.
